> Tansy Grandage-Stone - 3rd place in Long Jump (her jump of 4.75m was equal 2nd, but finished 3rd on a countback)

> 2nd place for the 4x100 metre relay team (Juliet Mameghan, Tansy Grandage-Stone, Vieda Simons-Moemai, Ruby Ozougwu)

North Metro Region Events

Congratulations to our various teams that competed in recent North Metro Region tournaments after winning through their Darebin Division events.

Special mention to the Year 9/10 Girls Table Tennis team and also the Year 7+8 Girls Hockey team for finishing runner-up at their respective tournaments and bringing back a pennant!

Darebin Division Sport

Futsal was again very popular with large student tryout numbers making for competitive team selection! We had success across many of our teams with plenty of wins in the games. Special mention to our Year 9/10 Girls team that won their event day with an exciting 1 goal victory in the Grand Final!

We also had the inaugural Darebin Division Tenpin Bowling tournament at Wyncity Keon Park for Years 7-10. It was a very exciting event which was also attended by representatives from Tenpin Bowling Australia. The venue went above and beyond with school coloured streamers, balloons, school logos and signs on the lanes!

Well done to our Year 8 boys team and Year 9/10 girls team that won their respective sections of the tournament!
