Principal's Report

Dear Parents, Carers and Community Members,

Welcome to the start of a new school year at St Joseph’s. A very warm welcome to our 31 Kindergarten students, as well as 6 other students, who have joined our school community in other grades. We also welcome our new staff members, Mrs McKie and Mrs McCormack. We are delighted to have you with us.

I would like to congratulate both our students and staff on the calm, positive and productive start to the year. Learning spaces have been settled and purposeful, with students engaged and ready to learn.

Yesterday, we were pleased to welcome our Director, Ms Regina Menz and the School Performance Leader team, who were highly impressed by the quality of learning taking place across the school. It was clearly evident that students were engaged, learning at their individual point of need and working within calm and focused classrooms. In particular, the team was very impressed to see our Kindergarten students enthusiastically participating in high-quality reading and writing activities, on just day 3 of school!

We look forward to another wonderful year of growth in faith, learning, and wellbeing.
