In 2026 much of our learning in this area is closely connected to the reading of class novels and will cover all aspects of the English curriculum including reading, spelling, grammar, handwriting, fluency, sentence level writing, text level writing, vocabulary and daily review.
Students will be reading these novels daily in class and referring to these texts. frequently throughout their learning.
Our first novel is War Horse by Michael Morpurgo.
