Good morning Families,

Congratulations to the Year 6 students who received the Sacrament of Confirmation yesterday afternoon. It was a beautiful ceremony, made all the more special as our students took this meaningful step in their faith journey at Holy Rosary Church. 

A heartfelt thank you to Father Andrew for celebrating this sacrament with us, as well as to the sponsors, families, and staff whose guidance, support, and care helped prepare our candidates so wonderfully for this special occasion.

May God continue to bless and guide our newly confirmed Year 6 students as they continue to grow in faith and grace.

Building News 

Please be aware that our builders, VisionBuilt, have now set up their site office directly under the library where they will be based for the remainder of the school year. All onsite builders hold a valid 'Working with Children Check'.

The entire fenced construction area is strictly out of bounds to all students, families, and visitors for safety reasons. We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our school community safe.

nForma Update

There are two changes to nForma that I bring to your attention and ask you to action.

1. You are now able to notify your child’s short term absences via nForma without having to email the office or class teacher. Only long term absences or holidays must now be emailed to the office.
2. The medical module is available for you to upload health related data to allow us to be fully informed about your child’s health and medical history. Please give this your attention to ensure your child can participate in excursions.

Term Dates 2027

You will note our calendar page now has the term dates for 2027. From Term 1, 2027 all terms will finish at 3:15pm.

Uniform

As part of our commitment to maintaining a high standard of pride in our school community, we ask for parents' support in ensuring students adhere to our school uniform expectations. Please take a moment to review the following points with your child:

• Nails, Jewellery & Makeup: Students must not wear makeup or manicured/acrylic nails. Long nails present a safety hazard during physical activity, sport, and classroom learning, and can easily cause injury to other student in play. Likewise, jewellery can also cause injury and may also cause injury. 
• Socks: Plain navy or white socks are to be worn. Logos are unacceptable.
• Complete Uniform: Students must wear either the full summer uniform or the full winter uniform. Items from the two different seasonal uniforms should not be mixed.
• Hair: For health, safety, and neatness, hair that reaches the collar must be tied back with hair accessories in school colors.

Our PBL lesson will focus on uniform expectaions this week and the lesson guidelines are provided on the PBL page.
