Kitchen Garden- Help Watering Needed!
As we head into the school holiday period, we’re reaching out to ask for your support in caring for our Kitchen Garden.
In the coming days, new plants will be added to the garden, and this break is a crucial time for them to settle in and thrive. With the current temperamental weather, alternating between rain and warm sunshine. The plants won’t need watering daily; however, they will still need regular care and attention.
To help manage this, we’ve placed a chalkboard and chalk near the Kitchen Garden. If you stop by to water the garden, please take a moment to record the date and time you watered. This will help us avoid overwatering and keep the plants healthy.
An updated laminated map of the garden showing the planting areas and types of produce will also be attached to the Kitchen Garden fence to guide you.
This is a precious time for our garden to grow strong, providing us not only with delicious produce next term, but also rich learning opportunities for the students.
Thank you in advance for your time and help, it truly makes a difference!
