Welcome to Term 4!

Wow, this year has flown by, I cannot believe we are already in the final term of prep! We have a big term ahead of us, full of exciting things. 

This week in Literacy we were introduced to the Dreamtime Story Super Snake. We worked on summarising how the land changed in the story and what Super Snake did to help the drought. 

In Numeracy we have been focusing on building our fluency in addition. We had lots of fun playing ‘two more’ snap and creating a  friends of 10 poster with our hand cutouts. 

Here is some important information to be aware of for the term: 

• Homework will be sent out this Friday. Please be sure to return any readers you may still have at home, as these are shared with the 1/2 ‘s as well

• Please bring students to school with hats as the weather is warming up and the UV rating is rising. 

• We have an excursion to the zoo planned for Week 5 (more information to be sent out about this at a later date) 

• As part of our Inquiry unit ‘Paws, Plants and Places’, we will be having an open afternoon which families will be invited to attend in Week 9 (more information to be sent out at a later date) 

• We have swimming the final 2 weeks of term
