A Message From Anna

Welcome to Term 4!

Welcome back to our final term of 2026!

I hope all our students, families and staff enjoyed a relaxing and refreshing school holiday break. It has been wonderful to see everyone return to school, ready for an exciting and busy term ahead.

Term 4 is always a particularly special time of year, with so many opportunities to celebrate our students, reflect on their achievements and enjoy being together as a school community.

I'm particularly looking forward to celebrating with our wonderful Year 6 students as they approach the end of their primary school journey. From graduation celebrations to our school Carols and all the special events in between, there is plenty to look forward to!

We're also enjoying the longer days and some warmer spring weather. A timely reminder that Term 4 is a hats-on term, so please ensure your child brings their school hat each day. Our SunSmart practices help keep everyone safe as we enjoy more time outdoors.

Let's make our final term of 2026 a fantastic one!

3/4 Camp Arrabri – Courage, Ambition and Adventure!

What a wonderful way for our Year 3/4 students to kick off Term 4!

This week, our students headed off to Camp Arrabri for an adventure filled with new experiences, challenges and plenty of opportunities to build friendships and confidence.

It was particularly pleasing to hear about the courage and ambition our students demonstrated when tackling activities that pushed them outside their comfort zones. Whether taking on the Flying Fox, or singing "I believe I can fly" whilst on the Giant Swing, or giving something unfamiliar a go, our students showed that learning and personal growth often happen when we're courageous enough to challenge ourselves.

A sincere thank you to Helen and Tia, our wonderful parent volunteers, for generously giving their time to support the camp. I'd also like to acknowledge and thank our dedicated staff who attended - Mrs K, Mr Stocks, Miss Smillie and Maddie. School camps require an enormous amount of preparation, organisation, energy and care, and the commitment of our staff makes these memorable opportunities possible for our students.

Congratulations to everyone involved!

A Loo-k at What's New! 🚽

Our school toilet upgrades are progressing, and we're excited to share some of the improvements taking shape!

A new roof has now been installed, and the updated design is bringing a fresh, bright and colourful look to the facilities.

The improvements include individual urinals and a range of updated features designed to create a more welcoming, functional and comfortable environment for our students.

It's exciting to see these spaces being transformed, and we're looking forward to sharing further updates as the work progresses.

While toilet upgrades might not be the most glamorous school improvement project, they certainly make a difference to our students' everyday experience at school!

Parent/Caregiver Survey – Thank You!

A sincere thank you to all the parents and caregivers who took the time to complete our recent Parent/Caregiver Opinion Survey.

Your feedback is an important part of our ongoing school improvement work. It helps us understand what we're doing well, recognise the areas our community values most and identify opportunities to continue strengthening our school.

As a school, we are committed to listening to our families and using feedback, alongside student learning and wellbeing data, to inform our planning and decision-making.

We appreciate the time and thought that families have invested in sharing their perspectives. Your voice matters, and your partnership plays an important role in making Box Hill North Primary School & Kindergarten the best it can be.
