Socktober: Putting Our Faith into Action
One in Christ, United in Mission 🧦🌍
Today, our school community came together to celebrate Socktober, a Catholic Mission initiative that encourages students to put their faith into action by supporting communities in need around the world.
This year's theme, “One in Christ, United in Mission,” reminds us that we are all connected through faith, compassion and our shared responsibility to care for others.
Throughout Socktober, students learned about Malawi in Africa, developing an understanding of the challenges faced by communities and how small acts of kindness and generosity can make a meaningful difference.
It was wonderful to see our students wearing their colourful and crazy socks, bringing plenty of joy and enthusiasm to the day!
A heartfelt thank you to our families for their generous donations and ongoing support. Together, we have raised over $900 for Catholic Mission, helping to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
