Book Fair

It was lovely to see so many of you visit our Book Fair which finished today. Unfortuantely I could not extend the time that the Fair was with us because of the restrictions with dates. I am looking forward to spending our commission on new books.

Thank you to all those people who kindly donated books or money. It was very generous. The children of St Josephs will appreciated your generosity.

Author Visit

Kim Michelle Toft is visiting us on the Friday 14th August. We are looking forward to seeing her beautiful silk illustrations and are excited to see what she has prepared for our students for the day.

I love the ocean, its force and beauty inspires me, calms me and fascinate me. Through my children’s books and silk art I want to capture its beauty and soul to help educate the next generation of the importance of its preservation and protection. Let’s continue to nurture nature, art and education.

Book Character Parade

The Book Character Parade will be held during Book Week. Children are encouraged to dress up as a character and bring the book that it comes from. Remember that costumes can be very simple. Little Joeys will be joining us on the Thursday. We always look forward to the day and seeing the costumes.
