My two children are currently enjoying their time at Trafalgar Primary School, one in Grade 3 and the other in Prep. In our relatively short time at the school, we have already had many positive experiences and have loved seeing our children grow in confidence.

I am a committed parent who recently completed my MBA and run my own business. I would welcome the opportunity to bring this experience to School Council as a Parent Representative and contribute in any way I can to support the school community.

What excites me most is helping build an environment where every child can live the school’s values and feel supported throughout their time at Trafalgar Primary School.

I am particularly passionate about improving learning outcomes for all students, making education engaging, and supporting every child to reach their full potential.

I’m a third-generation Gippslander who grew up on the family farm outside Trafalgar and now raise my own family in the same community. I attended Trafalgar Primary School with my siblings and am proud that my two children, Oliver and Katelyn, now attend the same school.

I bring over 25 years of experience in sports administration, coaching, aquatic and leisure facility management, local government and governance. I have also volunteered extensively with local sporting clubs and community groups, serving in numerous committee roles and coaching a variety of sports across many age groups for more than 20 years.

My governance experience includes nine years on the Gippsland Sports Academy Board and serving as a former Gippsland League Board member. This, combined with my professional work in local government, has given me a strong understanding of governance and the responsibilities of School Council.

I have been a School Council member for three years, including the past two as President, and previously served two years as President of the Parents and Friends Committee. During this time, I have supported initiatives that strengthen community connection and improve school facilities, including the STEM program and first aid room upgrade.

I hope to continue contributing to ensure the school remains a strong leader in education and community.

My name is Elly, and I have a Grade 1 girl this year and will have another starting Foundation next year. I am nominating for School Council as I would like to support our school with its goal of empowering learners. I love the natural curiosity children bring to the world and want to support them to follow their passion.

I have worked in government for the last 10 years managing administrative projects; building skills in communication, issue management, and planning. These will enable me to assist the School Council in the efficient governance of the school.

I look forward to doing what I can to continue the great range of opportunities for students at Trafalgar Primary.

I’m a proud parent of two boys who attend Trafalgar Primary School and a strong believer in the value of a supportive school community. Professionally, I work in project management, commercial management, and contract management, where I focus on planning, collaboration, and delivering positive outcomes.

As a family man who enjoys spending time outdoors, I value community, connection, and creating opportunities for children to learn and thrive. I’m interested in joining the School Council to contribute my professional skills and practical experience while supporting the school’s continued growth.

I’m passionate about helping shape the future of our local community and ensuring Trafalgar Primary remains a great place for students, families, and staff.

My name is Fiona, and I have been a parent at Trafalgar Primary for the past 10 years. It has been wonderful watching my children grow and learn at Trafalgar. I am also a kindergarten teacher at Trafalgar Primary ELC and have worked in education for over 20 years.

I have a passion for creative arts, enjoy challenging myself and love reading. I am enthusiastic and motivated, and I am always looking for new topics to explore that satisfy my curiosity and love of learning.

I would value the opportunity to contribute as a parent representative, bringing my experience as an educator within our community and working collaboratively with others to help shape the future direction of Trafalgar Primary School.
