Prayer and Deepest Sympathy

At the last assembly, we celebrated our school values of Hope, Hospitality, Service, Trust, Aspiration and Respect. I highlighted that, coincidently, there is a luminous patch of gas in the universe found by the NASA Hubble telescope that is called the HH STAR . This is an anagram of our values. The HH STAR is a place where new born stars are born. Our students, reflecting our values, will become stars.

One student, Jessie Luciani, was inspired to write the following prayer:

Dear Lord,

Let us shine bright like the HH STAR.

Glowing and releasing our hope into the world like a firework in the night sky.

Help us dream of a bright future that we can fulfil.

Allow us to thrive and be reborn into better versions of ourselves.
