The Student Insight group gave our Year 5/6 students the opportunity to contribute their ideas and experiences around their online world. This is a wonderful initiative that allows students to have a voice and helps ensure that future incursions are relevant, engaging and relatable for our students.
"Inform & Empower was a really fun experience as we got to plan and write a script for their next episode. My absolute favourite part was when we got to help make an app called "DisChat" . We had to come up with Rights and Responsibilities. We got to name some things we hated on the internet and what we loved. Overall I loved it and I hope to see them again in the future."

"Yesterday we participated in Inform and Empower. My favourite part was making Rights and Responsibilities for a made up chat app called Dischat. We also got to make up a story about Theo and Evie who are the characters in their show and I think we did an awesome job!"

"On Thursday I was chosen to participate in the Inform and Empower session with 7 other students. We met Carly and Lucas and they gave us lots of fun activities. First, they asked us to put lots of sticky notes on a piece of paper with stuff we do like on the internet and some things that we don't like. Then we made the app "Dischat" and put rights and responsibilities on it. Then we made our next Evie and Theo story, Henry and I worked together. It was so much fun!"
