Dear Families,

Welcome to Term 2. I hope you enjoyed a restful break and had the opportunity to spend meaningful time together as a family.

As we commence the new term, we do so with a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm for the learning and opportunities ahead. Term 2 is always a rich and productive time in the school year, with students continuing to build on their learning and engaging in a wide range of academic, co-curricular, and community experiences. We were delighted to recently host our Mother’s Day Breakfasts across both the Tarneit and Mambourin campuses.

These events were very well attended and provided a wonderful opportunity to honour and celebrate the important role of mothers within our College community. We extend our sincere thanks to our College Captains for their thoughtful acknowledgements and expressions of appreciation, and to all students who contributed so beautifully by performing, reading poetry, and leading prayers in honour of our mothers.

At Good News Lutheran College, we remain committed to nurturing each student’s growth; academically, socially, and spiritually. We are grateful for the partnership we share with families and deeply value your ongoing support in the life of our College. I look forward to the term ahead and the many opportunities it will bring for our students and wider community.
