Library borrowing will be closed from the end of next week to ensure we can get all library books back into the collection before the end of the year. Please pay attention to any overdue slips that come home and ensure you return all library books before the end of term. This is particularly crucial for families who will not be continuing on at St Mary's next year.
This Wednesday was International Men's Day which we marked in the library with a display of books featuring resilient boys and men and some quotes to get boys thinking about what it means to be strong. We discussed the purpose of International Men's Day in library lessons and reflected on how gender stereotypes negatively affect men and boys as well as women and girls. You can read more about International Men's Day here.

We are running a bonus book club this term ahead of Christmas. Issue 8 catalogues have gone home this week. Orders must be entered on Loop by Thursday 2 December at the latest.
All purchases through Book Club earn points for the school to buy new books for the library, thank you for your support!

The library has a long-established tradition of sending The Stroogle out on adventures with students who report back through a journal. Here are entries from Ava and Noah in Kindy.
