Mirboo North Tennis 

Our local tennis club is looking for any interested kids & adults that would like to play in the upcoming seasons – starting in early October.

We are looking for both boys & girls to play in teams in our 3 different age groups:

 A grade - 18 & under, B grade - 15 & under, C grade - 12 & under (down to age 9 or so).  Beginners are most welcome. Junior fees for the whole season are only $50 for the whole season.

All kids get to play both doubles & singles. Matches are played on Saturday mornings during Term 4 (2023) & Term 1 (2024) at the courts at the Recreation Reserve and courts of surrounding clubs - Mardan, Leongatha, & Fish Creek. No play over Christmas holidays. 

We are also looking for any adults that would like to play in our upcoming social night tennis competition. All games are played at the tennis courts located at the Recreation reserve on Wednesday nights from 7.30pm and are usually completed within 2 hours. The competition will begin early October and run for about 10 weeks and finish before Christmas. Another competition will start in February 2024.

We also have coaching available from Matt Pocklington & his South Gippsland Tennis Coaching team at the Leongatha courts (after school) for those interested. Anyone interested on coaching can contact Matthew Pocklington for details/costs on 0402 736 693.

This school holidays, Netball Victoria are hosting a school holiday clinic at Moe & District NA!

The clinic is available for children (boys and girls) ages from 7 to 13 years.

It’s a fun morning out meeting new people or getting together with your friends.  Some children will be having a go for the first time and others are actively playing the game in local competitions!  Everyone is welcome and we will be doing partner and group activities developing the skills of the game, shooting, defence and mid court! Everyone will get an opportunity to play the game!
