Golf Morning

This Tuesday and Wednesday 16 and 17th June Years 2, 3, 4 and 6 were introduced to the world of golf.  James Hartley, a PGA instructor at Cheltenham ran a short golf clinic for these year levels. 

There were many fun games and the students were also given some coaching on how to stand and properly swing the club.  

Zara from Year 6 said, “I thought golf was fun and interesting and I learned to keep straight arms when I hit the ball.”

For those interested in further developing their golf skills, James will be running clinics on Friday afternoons at 3:30pm on the school grounds for Preps to Year 6. Please contact James directly or the school office for more information.

Southern Metropolitan Regional Cross Country Champion

On Wednesday 17th June Gracelyn Warnes represented St Agnes and Holt District in the Southern Metropolitan Region for Cross Country running.  We are very pleased to announce that Gracelyn came 1st overall in her age group.  

She will now go on to represent St Agnes and Holt district in the state finals.  Everyone from St Agnes is so proud of you Gracelyn, good luck in the State Finals, we will be cheering for you.
