NEWS FLASH!

Get out the craft box, the stapler, sticky tape and the sewing machine. The Book Week Dress Up Day is set for Friday 22nd August. Although it's a while away and there are so many things happening between now and then, I wanted everyone to have the opportunity to think about which book character your child would like to dress up in. The staff all get involved with this dress up day too which always a lot of fun.

Closer to the date we will be giving you all the other Book Week events that will be happening. 

Very soon we will be asking for volunteers for the upcoming Scholastic Book Fair which commences on Monday 4th August and the amazing Diana will be coordinating the roster. The Book Fair is a very exciting event where our school library is converted into a fabulous book shop where the students and families can purchase books. 

This is a fundraiser event that has been used to provide books for the library and classrooms, as well as generating an interest and love of books and reading.
