It’s wonderful to be back at school after my recent leave. I’ve really enjoyed reconnecting with students across all year level. There’s nothing quite like the energy and enthusiasm that fills our classrooms and playgrounds each day!
As we move further into the term, I’d like to take a moment to acknowledge the impact that winter illness can have. We all want to see our children at school thriving in their learning, but we also recognise that rest and recovery are essential.
If your child is unwell, we encourage you to keep them home until they’re feeling better, not only for their own wellbeing, but to help keep others healthy too. Thank you for your continued support in managing this responsibly.
With the King’s Birthday long weekend approaching, I hope you and your family take the opportunity to enjoy a well-earned rest. It’s a great chance for everyone to recharge before we head into what promises to be an exciting second half of the term. There’s still so much to look forward to!
Our Years 2–4 swimming program is just around the corner, there are still several interschool sports matches to come and engaging excursions and incursions are planned for some year levels that are sure to enrich students’ learning experiences.
