Principal's Update

As we approach the end of term, many students are feeling the effects of a long and busy few weeks. It's normal for children to feel more tired at this time of year, so it's important they're getting enough sleep each night to help them stay focused and feel their best during the school day. A good night's rest supports learning, behaviour, and wellbeing - especially as we finish off the term strong!

Junior Public Speaking

On Thursday we held our Lions Club public speaking school final. We had an amazing number of students up to have a go! They worked hard over the last 6 weeks to write a speech with the topic 'If you could invent something what would it be?' It was a very tight competition with the most outstanding going to Harry Wingfield and runner up Paige Holt. Both students will go on to represent Cobram Primary School in the Lion's Club final. We wish them the best of luck! I would like to extend my thanks to the Cobram Lion's Club, and especially our volunteer judges Janet, Ron, Olga and Keith, having local programs such as this on offer is a fantastic experience for our students! We hope you enjoyed the morning tea and chat with our students after the speeches!
