MPS Racing

Kachow, racing fast, no time to slack, zooming on the ground, we’re right on track! Some of the MPS Racing Team competed in our first race of the year at Calder Park last Saturday.
In the scorching heat, we worked as a team to be the best we could be. Below is our team’s experience from the day…
Everyone woke up with big smiles, knowing race day had finally arrived. As we pulled into Calder Park, the excitement kicked in—teams setting up, riders putting gear on and the energy building.
The temperature climbed to a scorching 37 degrees, making it even hotter inside the trike. Despite the challenging conditions, the team put in an incredible effort, pushing through the heat and working together to achieve a fantastic result.
Over the course of the race, we completed an impressive 108 laps, with our best lap time coming in at 2:27! After a hard fought battle on the track, we placed 3rd out of all the schools competing in the Junior division, a result we are extremely proud of.
The day was both exhausting and exhilarating, filled with nonstop action and fun. It was a great way to kick off the season and we are feeling confident as we prepare for our upcoming races.
Thank you to Miss Davey, Mrs Lee, Mr Parker and to all the parents who helped and took us to the race.
A huge congratulations and thankyou to our 2025 HPR Captain, Louie Wilson. He led us through the day, role modelling and bringing the team together.
