300 tonnes of sand has landed in Frankston for the Australian Sand Sculpting Championship 2025 – Villains of Storytime!

 

From 5 – 27 April, McCombs Reserve will be transformed into stunning battleground of creativity where your favourite literary villains have risen from the grains of sand in ways you’ve never imagined.

 

Australian Sand Sculptors are competing for the title of Australian Champion and Doubles Champions – carving their favourite Storytime Villains and exploring the complex relationship that exists between the villain and hero – every story needs a great villain – without the villain the hero cannot shine.

 

Running until the end of April there’s plenty of fun for the whole family including:
