A ‘Clean Slate’
While it may not be a new, academic year, Term 4 still provides an opportunity for a fresh start – a ‘clean slate’ per say.
The beginning of a new term gives us an opportunity to reset – to leave behind any frustrations, mistakes and challenges of the previous term and look forward with renewed purpose.
A ‘clean slate’ does not mean forgetting what has happened. It means choosing not to let what happened define what comes next.
The holidays would have provided time to reflect, recharge and reset. Irrespective, returning to school gives every student the opportunity to start again. New goals, new opportunities, new relationships and a fresh perspective.
With that being said, I warmly welcome everyone back – students, parents/carers and staff – to Term 4.
