Principal's message

St Monica's is a child-safe school.

We promote the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all students.

Welcome to Term 4!

Spring has well and truly arrived — the days are getting longer, the sunshine a little warmer, and there’s a great sense of energy in the air as we begin our final term for the year.

Welcome back to all our students, staff and families! Term 4 is always a busy and exciting time filled with learning, celebration and reflection as we look back on the year that’s been and prepare for what’s ahead.

We look forward to making the most of these next nine weeks together — finishing the year strong, sharing in community events, and celebrating the wonderful growth and achievements of our students.

Matt Knight - Principal

Junior Unit Swimming Program

Next week the Junior students (Prep - 2) will participate in water awareness lessons at the Gurri Wanyarra Swimming Pool.  The lessons will be running all week.  Please check Simon Everywhere with details for students.

School Concert

An email was sent out on Thursday regarding the upcoming school concert (November 18th). Classroom teachers are communicating with parents regarding costumes etc and there will be more details to come about ticket sales as we get closer.

UPDATED: Engagement of Volunteers

At St Monica’s, the safety and wellbeing of our students is always our highest priority. All Volunteers are required to complete the Volunteer Registration Form, the CESL School Volunteer Induction, and acknowledge key Child Safe policies before beginning their role.

We value the wonderful contribution our Volunteers make to our school community.

For full details, please visit the Child Safety page on our newsletter.

School Advisory Council

The next meeting for SAC members will be held on Monday October 14 @ 6pm in the School Admin Building.

P&F Meeting

Monday October 21 @ 6.00pm - all welcome

See P&F page for more details.

School Fees & Levies

Statements for school fees & levies are emailed to families at the start of each month.  Please check your statement and contact the office if you have any questions.

It is expected that all school fees and levies are finalised each year by the start of December.

The school provides a variety of options for payment of school fees and levies - in full at the start of the school year / part payment at the start of each school term / by direct debit – weekly, fortnightly, or monthly / by direct payment into the school bank account or by regular payments at the school office or on the CDF Pay App.

It is important that payment of school fees and levies are honoured and prompt payment is much appreciated.  However, if you are experiencing difficulty meeting your obligation for payment, please contact the school to arrange a time to discuss this with the Principal, Mr Matt Knight.

2026 Enrolment

As we are planning the set up for the 2026 school year, we would appreciate families who may be leaving St Monica's to let us know as soon as possible.  This advanced notice supports not only our organisation for 2026 but the transition of students to other settings.
