Inquiry 

Our Inquiry topic this term is ‘Where do we live?’This week, the Grade Ones have been exploring our local environment. We discussed the different places we visit in our community and shared which places are most special to us and why. Students loved creating and decorating their own ‘My Place’ drawings to show their homes and the things that make them unique.

Concert Practise

Our school concert is coming up in week 7, everyone is buzzing with excitement! 

3/4B are dancing to Justin Timberlake’s ‘Cant’ Stop the Feeling’, 3/4CP’s song is ‘Staying Alive’ by the Bee Gees and 3/4T are dancing to ABBA’s ‘Waterloo’. 

The students have been practicing their routines, perfecting every step and move. The Capital Theatre will soon be filled with music, lights, and energy as each class takes the stage to show what they’ve learned. It’s a chance to celebrate creativity, teamwork, and confidence, and we can’t wait to see all the hard work come together on the night.

We are currently reading The worlds grandest bookshop and are very excited to have author, Amelia Mellor visiting next week. She coming into the school to talk about the Coles Book arcade and the history of the novel.
