Summer Trials (Basketball and Tennis)
We wish four of our sporting superstars all the best today as they compete at the Armidale Catholic Schools Summer Trials in Tamworth. Zara Correy, Harry Smith and Brooke Halloran are trialling for tennis and Chase Gelhaar is trialling for basketball. A recap of their day will be in the next newsletter.
2026 St Joseph’s Swimming Carnival
For all students at St Joseph’s in Years 1 to 6 next year, keep an eye out for a consent form sent out via Compass for your child to attend this event. The carnival will be held on Wednesday 11th February 2026, with the back up date being Monday the 16th February.
At the beginning of next year, your child will come home with a form to nominate for the races to be held at the carnival.
Representative Uniforms - Wardrobe Cleanout
As the year winds down, we are beginning our inventory preparations for the 2026 school year.
We ask that all families with primary students take a moment to look through your child's belongings for any school representative uniforms they may have worn for various team sporting events throughout the year. (Jerseys, singlets, shorts, netball dresses, socks etc).
We need to conduct a thorough stocktake now to ensure we have full team kits available for all teams next year.
Please return any representative uniforms to your child’s teacher as soon as possible. We appreciate your immediate cooperation with this important logistical task!
