I pray that your time away from the routines of the school term have been restful and full of connection with family and friends. Thank you to the Imagination OSHC and Curiosity ELC teams for their ongoing work over these school holiday times.

Teaching & Learning - Mr Grierson

It was recently shared with us that Teaching & Learning Leader, Mr Jared Grierson, will be moving on at the end of the year to take up an exciting new role with the Department for Education. While we will miss him at Good Shepherd, we are proud to see him take this next step in his journey.

Jared’s time with us has been a wonderful example of how we nurture and support our staff to grow, lead, and make a difference. He has inspired both students and colleagues, and his contributions have left a lasting mark on our school community.

We celebrate Mr Grierson’s achievements and are excited to see him continue to flourish in this new chapter. We will have a proper farewell for him at assembly later in the year.

New Automatic Doors - Front Office Foyer

We’re pleased to share that new automatic doors have been installed in our front office foyer replacing the ageing timber doors, improving safety for our community.

These doors will be operated by our front reception team between 8:45am and 3:00pm each day. Within these times, all visitors are kindly asked to sign in at the front desk upon arrival. This process supports our commitment to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for every student, staff member, and visitor.

An automatic lock mechanism operational during school hours has also been fitted to the Junior Primary access door. This improvement is another step in strengthening safety measures across our school and ensuring the wellbeing of all children in our care.

We thank our families and visitors for their continued cooperation and support as we enhance our facilities and improve student safety.

I look forward to welcoming you all back to school on Monday the 13th of October with worship - where I will be sharing about how we can be Adventurous with God in our learning and life.
