Yr 10 Visual Art excursion to Archibald Prize, Geelong Gallery

Our Year 10 Visual Art students enjoyed an inspiring excursion to the Geelong Gallery to view the prestigious Archibald Prize exhibition. This annual portraiture award showcases some of Australia’s most celebrated contemporary artists, and our students had the opportunity to explore a diverse range of styles, techniques, and powerful personal stories captured through portraiture. The visit sparked thoughtful discussion and creative reflection, making it a valuable experience that will inform their own artistic journeys back in the classroom.
