Student Wellbeing

Our Wellbeing Team have been doing a fantastic job supporting positive mental health across our school. Recently, they have taken on the important role of presenting and facilitating Brain Breaks at assembly.
Brain breaks are short, engaging activities designed to help students reset, refocus and recharge. Research shows that brief movement or mindfulness activities can improve concentration, boost mood, strengthen emotional regulation and increase overall engagement in learning. By leading these activities, our Wellbeing Team is helping to build a shared understanding that looking after our brains is just as important as looking after our bodies.
It has been wonderful to see students enthusiastically participating and developing strategies they can use in the classroom and beyond.
Last week the Wellbeing Team interviewed all students across the school to gather ideas for future lunchtime clubs. This is a great example of student voice in action, ensuring opportunities reflect the interests and needs of our school community.
