Certificate III and Subject Selections

Year 11 students are working diligently on their Certificate III applications and it is great to see so many students showing an interest in completing higher level qualifications.

These applications close on Monday August 18 at 4pm, so please check in with your child and encourage them to submit these by the deadline if they wish to be considered for a place in this program.

General students can use the link below to complete their subject selections and/or Certificate III applications in the same form -

ATAR students need to use this link instead, as their options are slightly different and the form reflects this -

Scholarships

There are a range of scholarships available to Year 11 students who are continuing their studies in Year 12. Students are able to collect an application pack from the front office and need to submit these to Miss Sjollema by Monday September 15 before 4pm or drop them in at the front office.

Dowerin Field Day

The Dowerin Field day is an annual excursion for WACOA Cunderdin students who have the opportunity to spend the day engaging in educational sessions focused on developing technology, future directions for agriculture and gain exposure to potential career pathways.

It is also an excellent opportunity for networking and our students are able to attend the Field Day as a representative of the College free of charge. They need to be dressed in their full formal uniforms and enter with the College if they are to be considered a representative.

Students are not permitted to self drive on the day of the excursion, however, parents are able to sign students out on Wednesday and drop them at Dowerin or sign them out to collect them at the end of the day from Dowerin Field Days or collect them from the College once we have returned. This backs onto a closed weekend so students will need to have the appropriate leave submitted to communicate their intentions.

Photo Day

Congratulations and appreciation to the students and staff who made Photo Day such a smooth and easy process. The students looked so smart dressed up in their formals and represented themselves and the College very well. Please ensure that you have ordered your photos via the link in the last Chatter.
