Movable Holy Week Prayer Service:
Our first ever Movable Holy Week Prayer Service was an incredibly moving experience, filled with a profound sense of faith shared throughout the entire St. Brendan’s community. Thank you to our incredible teachers, whose hard work and dedication prepared the students so beautifully for this sacred journey. The students were truly great, leading us with a reverence and sincerity that brought the spirit of the season to life. Thank you to everyone in the community for sharing in this powerful service with us and for joining together for the lovely morning tea that followed; it was a beautiful testament to the warmth of our school family as we walked in the footsteps of Jesus.

Easter Alleluia Prayer
God of our journey, God of hope,
We give You thanks and praise, as we gather to
begin a new term together, guided by the
light of Christ. May all of those who are a part of
this community, find a welcome place to grow
and to be their best selves, especially throughout
the continuing season of Easter. Give us Your grace
to begin our journey with hope and joy.
This, we pray in Jesus’ name.
All: Amen
ANZAC Day Reflection:
Thank you to our SRCs and our School Leaders for their preparation of this year’s ANZAC Day Remembrance Service. The respect shown by our students/families during the ceremony was a testament to our school’s values. ANZAC Day is not about the glorification of war; it is a time to pause and reflect on the qualities of those who served: courage, endurance, and mateship. When the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps landed at Gallipoli on April 25, 1915, they faced unimaginable hardships. Yet, from those trenches emerged a legendary spirit that has come to define our national identity. As the bugle calls and the silence falls, we carry their legacy forward.
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them."
