Parents and Friends 

What a wonderful celebration of all our beautiful mothers and special others we have had today! A delicious morning tea spread was lovingly put together with generous treats bought in by mums to share with others. A hot cup of coffee, a steaming tea and a sweet treat was the perfect way to start mother’s day weekend. The warmth and love shown to each other this morning, whether it be new faces or old is the perfect example of a wonderful SFS community.

Congratulations to our lucky raffle prize winners, both at the morning tea and the school raffle. We had some amazing donations from local businesses and families. A huge thankyou to Gail and Athina who ran our donation drive. We hope the winners enjoyed their prizes! The money raised will be tallied and the final amount to be donated to the McGrath Foundation will be in next week’s newsletter.

The annual mother’s day stall ran without a hitch. The student came in and lovingly chose some special gifts for their mums. The care and thought shown when picking the gifts was very sweet. We hope you enjoy.

Walk Safely to School Day Breakfast

Friday May 15th is Walk Safely to School Day. The P&F will be providing a breakfast snack to those participating in the walk to school to refuel and get ready for their learning.

Friday Fun Treats Are Back!!

We are very excited to have some new faces join us on the Friday Fun Treats roster! If you can spare some time on a Friday and would like to come down to help just let us know! Remember to send your child with $1 to purchase a treat. As the winter weather approaches we will be offering an alternative to the Zooper Doopers.

Uniform Shop

The Uniform Shop Team are back on board for Term 2 with some of your Winter Uniform needs! Stocks will run low very quickly so if you have any winter uniform at home no longer being used please bring it on in! Each piece remains at $5- a great saving for those girls tunics!! Drop in and visit Renee and Maria in the community room on Thursday mornings. We are still accepting coat hanger donations too!
