A Day to Remember!
Congratulations
Congratulations to our students who made their First Communion last Saturday 13 June 2026 at St Kevin’s Church, Hampton Park. It was a very special Mass with students from both parish schools making their First Eucharist.
Thanks to Fr Fabian for his pastoral leadership and Fr Anthony for his support to our school. Special thanks to Rozeta our Religious Education Leader for all she does to ensure every detail is well coordinated so that everything runs as planned to make it a day to remember, a sacred day for our children. Thanks to our parents the most important first teachers and role models for their partnership in preparing children and for the impeccable way the children were presented for this sacrament. I am so grateful fr the amazing teaching team we have at St Francis de Sales. I thank all teachers who go above and beyond to support our school and our exceptionally wonderful children.
May God bless and guide our children so that they always remember this first of may communions that they will receive in their life. May they know the joy of God’s presence and radiate his light all the days of their life.

End of Day Routines to Keep us SAFE
This week 'End of Day' routines have been reinforced with all students. Parents are asked to work in partnership with our staff to also help reinforce the following specific safety routines for safe dismissal. We do have play after school but it is only on the BLUE playground and basketball court and NOT on the rainbow playground.
There is only teacher supervision on the Blue Playground and the Drive Through after school. We encourage parents to pick up their child from the gate by the blue playground or the drive through. The gate by the rainbow playground is only for pedestrian use.
I will not play on the rainbow playground as there is no teacher supervising that area. I will not play ball games on the grassed area or playgrounds.
In the Drive through I watch for my car. When my car stops, I enter quickly.
My parents stay in the car.
It is important that no one is kept waiting.
Parents are also reminded that for the smooth flow of Drive through for all families and children, please remember the following:
- Do stay in your car in drive through.
- If your child is late, please go around again.
- Follow the guidance of the teacher on duty.
- Do not do a right turn into or out of the school gates before or after school.
- Remember the car park is only for Staff cars.
- There is ample street parking at SFS.
- Please park in the street and come in. You are always welcome.
Prep Enrolments are near capacity!
If you know someone thinking about their child starting at our wonderful school, they need to act fast. Book a tour, complete an application online and attend an interview to secure a place at St Francis de Sales for 2027. Delay and you will MISS out and will need to go on a waiting list. Spread the word so friends and families are aware that places are now limited for 2027.
