Term 2, 2026

We are a week 9 already which means that we have 1 week to go before the end of term.

Attendance:

This term we noticed that some Year 7 students have been absent or arriving late on multiple occasions.

Please ensure that your child arrives at school on time each day, as consistent attendance is vital for their learning and development.

Reports:

End-of-Semester 1 reports are currently being written. They will be available for you to view on Friday 26th June 2026.

River Detectives Program:

The Year 7 students are currently participating in the River Detectives program, an initiative that helps students develop an understanding of local waterways and environmental sustainability.

As part of the program, students visit the river once each term to conduct water quality testing and collect data. This Friday, the students will be heading to the river to carry out another round of testing, allowing them to monitor changes in water quality over time and contribute to ongoing environmental investigations.

Colour Run at Donald Primary:

On Wednesday, 10 June, the Year 7 students attended DHS to assist the VM students in running a Colour Run for local primary school students.

The event was a great success and provided a fun and engaging afternoon for everyone involved. The Year 7 students represented the school exceptionally well, demonstrating enthusiasm, responsibility, and a positive attitude throughout the day.

As a token of appreciation for their assistance and excellent behaviour, the students were treated to a hot chip lunch. Their contribution helped make the event an enjoyable experience for all participants.
