NSW PSSA HOCKEY CARNIVAL WINTER TRIALS

Last week we had our Hockey superstars compete for Polding at the NSW PSSA Hockey Carnival. Both the boys and girls teams made it into the Grand Final of the competition. The boys team won 1-0 against Mackillop. The girls placed equal first with Combined Independent Schools with a score of 2-2. 

Sofia Michell was then selected in the NSW Hockey squad to compete at the National Hockey Championship in Cairns on 18 to 23 August 2024.

ST NICHOLAS ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

The school athletics carnival was released on Compass last week. Please head to Compass to consent for the event and to enter track events (Years 2-6 only).

NSWCPS CROSS COUNTRY

GARY MCSWEENEY CUP AND DIOCESAN RUGBY TRIALS

Last Friday we had a super team compete at the Gary McSweeney Cup and Diocesan Rugby Trials. Thank you to Mr Henn for coaching the team on the day and for Mrs Chatfield for her sideline support.

Congratulations to Molly Jones and Lilli Steinbeck who were selected in the Armidale Diocesan Rugby 7s girls squad to compete at the Polding carnival in Strathfield on Wednesday 14 August 2024.

Congratulations to Thomas McDougall and Ben van Aanholt who were selected in the Armidale Diocesan Rugby Union boys squad to compete at the Polding carnival in Forbes on Sunday 30 June - Monday 1 July 2024.

JAY STONE

This term we have Jay Stone coming to help with Athletics skills for children in Years 2-6.
