The Issue Highlights
Dear Families,
Term 3 has been a short but busy term. Thank you also to our families for your continued support of your children and working together with us to achieve the best possible outcomes for them.
This term we have celebrated: NAIDOC Week, 100 Days of Prep, Principals' Day, Bullying No Way Week, Literacy and Numeracy Week, Father's Day and R U OK? Day. We have also had our 9-12 Winter Formal, Foundation Late Night, Literacy, 3/4 Sleepover and Swimming. Term 4 is equally jam packed!
Jackson Canteen & Tuckshop
From Week 2 of next term, Jackson School will run a Canteen and Tuckshop every Wednesday. Fresh salad rolls, hot foods and bakery treats will be provided from St Alban's Hot Bread Bakery for lunch orders each week. Please note: there is a $0.29 fee per order.

We will use the Flexischool app for families to purchase a lunch order from the Jackson Canteen and/or Tuck Shop. This means that you will be able to order, and pay for items from our school without needing to pay cash or visit in person. To create an account with Flexischools so that you can order and make payments for our school, you can download the Flexischools app from the Apple App Store or Google Store and follow the prompts to create an account. Account set-up and online ordering instructions are available from
Flexischools here. If you already have a Flexischools account for another family member, just select the Profile icon on the app and +Add New Student.
The Flexischool app also offer FLX prepaid Mastercards for student use in shops and online but not ATMs. These also allow families to gift ongoing pocket money to students and support students in saving for future purchases. The annual fee $25 which is cheaper than competitors like Spriggy. Our Teaching & Learning Team are working with our Maths Consultants to embed the use of eftpos and online banking into our curriculum.
Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE)
In Term 4, we will be delivering Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) to students across the whole school. RSE is part of the Victorian Curriculum, mandated through the Child Safe Standards and compulsory for Victorian Government Schools (primary, secondary and specialist).

School Holidays Activities
Here are some activity suggestions for the school holidays:
Last Day of Term 3
School Council have endorsed the Pupil Free Days for 2026:
Today is the last day for students in Term 3. The first day of Term 4 IS NOT a student free day. Students return to school on Monday 6th October 2025. Buses will operate as normal on this day.
I hope you all have a happy and safe holiday break, and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday 6th October for a busy last term of the year.
