Wishing our sixteen athletes all the very best for this Friday, as they head off to Duncan McKinnon Athletics track to compete in the Beachside Division Athletics carnival.

JUNIOR REGIONAL HOOPTIME UPDATE
We have just been advised that our Year 3&4, Junior All Star Boys team will now head to Regional HoopTime on Thursday 13th of November at Nunawading stadium. All other dates set for Regional HoopTime clashed with camp (all fall in that week), so the day after camp it must be! Further info will go out in the next few weeks, however transport and coaches & scorers will once again be required - please email Tania if you are available that date. Thank you.
TERM 4 SPORT AHEAD!
This term is set for a fabulous array of sports, with a number of our Year 3&4’s and 5&6’s set to play in the Dendy District Cricket Blast tournaments, held at Dendy Park over the next 2 weeks.
We also have our final whole school carnival; our Inter-House Swimming Carnival at MSAC pool in Albert Park on Friday 28th of November. This day sees all Prep - Year 2 students swim in three events (25m freestyle, 25 backstroke & Novelty relay), with optional flotation & adult support. Our Year 3-6 students also participate up the other end of the pool within their pre-selected 25m or 50m races; including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, novelty race and mixed-age relays. We will to finish the day with our Year 6’s enjoying a modified Water Polo game and some further relays.
Full participation is encourage at this final House event for the year, celebrating their improved swimming skills from the 2 week intensive swimming program held this term. PARENTS - please diary this date below as we really love the support from as many parents as possible!

PARENT HELPERS REQUIRED!
We have a big couple of Friday’s coming up with some of our Year 5 & 6 and 3 & 4’s participating in the Cricket Blast tournaments at Dendy Park. Students that signed up for this event have been placed in a team and will be involved in a round-robin tournament against other Dendy District schools.
PARENT HELPERS REQUIRED: In order for this day to run successfully, we required the help from a number of parents/guardians to help team manage & score their child’s team’s games (2 adults/team). If you are able to help for a full or half day, please email Tania Thompson.
