Last Thursday students and staff enjoyed a wonderful lunch order to raise money for Caritas. With around a 125 orders and the chicken donated from Hazeldene's, we made about $450 for Caritas! Thanks to the students in Wirrap and for the helping-hands from our staff and to our Enviro Team, Sarah Andrews & Alex Love-Linay.

The last week of Term one is fast approaching. In the last week we will have lots of Easter activities for students to participate and enjoy. Further details will be provided later in week.

As we move through Holy Week, we remember the most important events in the life of Jesus. Each day helps us understand God’s love in a deeper way.
Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday is the start of Holy Week. We remember when Jesus entered Jerusalem and people welcomed Him by waving palm branches. They were happy and believed He was a king.
This day reminds us to welcome Jesus into our own lives and hearts.
Holy Thursday
Holy Thursday remembers the Last Supper that Jesus shared with His disciples. During this meal, Jesus gave us the gift of the Eucharist.
Jesus also washed His disciples’ feet to show us how to serve others with love and kindness.
This day reminds us to care for others and to be people of service.
Good Friday
Good Friday is a quiet and serious day. We remember when Jesus died on the cross.
Even though it is a sad day, it shows us how much Jesus loves us. He gave His life for everyone.
This day reminds us to think about sacrifice, forgiveness, and love.
Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday is a day of great joy. We celebrate that Jesus rose from the dead.
This shows us that life is stronger than death, and hope is stronger than fear.
Easter reminds us that new life is always possible, and God is always with us.
Holiday Prayer
Loving God,
As we enter this Easter season and the school holidays, we ask You to watch over our families.
Keep us safe as we travel, protect us wherever we go, and bring us back together refreshed and joyful.
Help us to rest, to spend time with those we love, and to remember Your peace in our hearts.
Amen.
