What a week ................

This week has certainly been a wonderful one, full of celebrations at Naranga.

The week began with the Pathways group heading off to Phillip Island for their final camping experience at Naranga School as Year 12 students. Although the weather started with rain, by Wednesday the sun was shining, and the students returned to school tired but happy to have shared the experience with friends and teachers.

On Tuesday, at the Australian Centre for Careers Education award ceremony, Brooke Winnett—a member of our Pathways team—was nominated and shortlisted for the Department of Education Outstanding Career Practitioner Award. Brooke has worked tirelessly to support students in accessing a range of work-based learning opportunities such as work experience, Structured Workplace Learning, and School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships. Congratulations, Brooke!

The celebrations continued on Thursday evening with the Graduation Ceremony for the Year 12 students. The event was attended by 140 family members, friends, and staff who gathered to celebrate the completion of schooling at Naranga. Some of the students have attended Naranga School for the entirety of their education. It was an emotional time saying farewell; however, an exciting new chapter awaits them on their chosen paths. It has been truly inspiring to watch them grow into the thoughtful young adults they are today.

On Friday, we continued the celebrations with our Upper Junior students. Family, friends, and staff gathered in the Amphitheatre to acknowledge the students who are graduating to the senior school in 2026. This marks another exciting milestone as they prepare to embark on new learning programs and opportunities in the senior school.
