Reflection

Loving and compassionate God,

We come before you with heavy hearts in the wake of the tragedy at Bondi.

We pray for those who have lost their lives—may they rest in your eternal peace. Surround them with your light and mercy.

We hold in prayer the families and loved ones who are grieving such sudden and painful loss. 

Grant them comfort, strength, and the assurance that they are not alone in their sorrow.

We pray for all who were injured or traumatised, for first responders, medical staff, and witnesses—may healing, calm, and hope gently restore them.

In this time of shock and sadness, help our community to stand together with compassion, kindness, and care for one another.

May love be stronger than fear, may unity overcome division, and may peace dwell in our hearts and our world.
