Write a Book in a Day

Gallery Image

Once again, some of our senior students will be participating in this wonderful competition. The challenge is to write a book in one day as well as raising money for children with cancer. The children work from 8am until 4pm, and they have to draft, write, edit and illustrate the book in that time, based around certain characters and settings given on the day. This day will be on Wednesday 26th August.

We are able to fundraise for this worthwhile cause until the end of September. If you are able to donate, please use this link to our Holy Family team page:

You can donate as little or as much as you would like. Some idea of what your donations can support are as follows:

It's nearly holidays! Congratulations on using tech responsibly for the whole Term. One thing we use a lot in the holidays is Tech. To use Tech responsibly you must

  • Turn it off when told to,
  •  Only watch appropriate shows,
  • Use kind words and actions ( like we’ve been practising ) online
  • Use Appropriate sites.

Stay safe during the holidays and remember to have fun. See you next Term!

Highlights of Term 2-

Term 2 is already coming to an end, and wow, what a term it has been. Our school has been buzzing with energy, achievements, and plenty of memorable moments. Throughout these past weeks, students have included themselves into learning, teamwork, and community spirit. Some of the standout events from this term include:

  • Athletics Carnival
  • Soccer Gala Days
  • Gold Day for the Seniors
  • Cluster Debating
  • Cross Country Cluster and Zone
  • SPARK Days

Term 2 has truly been a special chapter and marks the close of our first semester. We’re proud of everything our students have achieved academically, socially, and personally. As we head into the holidays, we hope everyone enjoys a well‑earned break. Rest up, recharge, and get ready, because Term 3 is just around the corner and we can’t wait to see what exciting opportunities it brings.

Thank you, and enjoy the holidays!
