Principal's Message

Dear Holy Family Parents,

End of Term Two

As we reach the end of Term 2, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincere thanks to all members of our wonderful Holy Family community.

Firstly, to our students – thank you for your enthusiasm, commitment to learning, and the positive spirit you bring to school each day. You have worked hard throughout the term and should be very proud of your efforts.

To our staff – I am deeply grateful for your dedication, professionalism, and care. Your tireless work ensures that our students are supported, challenged, and nurtured in a safe and engaging learning environment.

To our parents and families – thank you for your ongoing partnership and support. Your involvement and partnership play such an important role in the life of our school.

I would also like to acknowledge and thank Father Colin and our parish team for their continued guidance and support. Together, we are building a strong and connected parish and school community, grounded in shared values and faith.

This term, we say farewell to Ms Dalle-Nogare. We were blessed to celebrate her contribution to our school with a special Celebration Mass, which was an opportunity to give thanks for all she has given to our community. Ms Dalle-Nogare has been a valued member of our school, and we thank her for her dedication, care, and commitment. We wish her every blessing and success as she embarks on this wonderful new opportunity.

Wishing You a Safe and Happy Holiday

As the holidays begin, I wish all of our families a safe, restful, and enjoyable break. May this time provide an opportunity to relax, recharge, and spend quality time together.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another wonderful term.

Dance Program – Term 3

In Term 3, students from Kindergarten to Year 6 will commence their dance program with Zing Activ, held each Tuesday. Lessons will begin on Tuesday 21 July, the first day of Term 3.

This engaging program offers students a wonderful opportunity to build confidence, coordination and fitness, while enjoying creative movement.

Students are asked to wear their sports uniform each Tuesday to ensure they are comfortable and ready to participate.

Graduate Program - Completing Year 6 at Holy Family

At Holy Family School, our Graduate Program is designed to ensure that every student leaves Year 6 as a confident, capable, and compassionate young person, ready to embrace the next stage of their education. The program focuses on developing the whole child-academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually- while nurturing a strong sense of responsibility and leadership.

One of the key advantages of remaining at Holy Family until the end of Year 6 is the opportunity for students to take on meaningful leadership roles within our school community. As the senior students, our Year 5 and 6 cohort become role models for younger students, leading by example in the classroom, on the playground, and during school events.

Opportunities such as school leadership positions, buddy programs, liturgical roles, and involvement in whole-school initiatives allow students to develop confidence, communication skills, and a strong sense of service to others. Our Graduate Program also provides targeted experiences that support a smooth transition to secondary school. Students are guided to become independent learners, critical thinkers, and resilient individuals who are prepared to manage new challenges. They are encouraged to reflect on their learning, set goals, and take ownership of their personal growth.

Remaining at Holy Family until the end of Year 6 allows students to fully benefit from these opportunities, strengthening friendships, deepening their connection to the school, and completing their primary years with a strong sense of achievement and belonging.

We are incredibly proud of our graduating students each year and the way they embody our school values as they move forward with confidence, faith, and a love of learning. We look forward to seeing you at the presentation as we celebrate their journey and achievements together.
