Boarding House Welcome

Dear Parents and Carers
Welcome to Term 3. I hope our boarding families have enjoyed a restful break and valued the opportunity to reconnect and spend time together.
We look forward to welcoming all boarders back on Monday 13 July, and hearing about their holiday adventures, family times and travels over the break. The Boarding House will open from 8:30am, with all students expected to be in-house by 4:00pm.
Staffing Update
We are pleased to welcome Lauren Russell to our weekend boarding team this term.
Head of Year 9 and 10 Boarding Supervisor, Judy Hay, will be on leave for the first two weeks of term.
New Boarders
We are excited to welcome six new boarders for Term 3:
- Karina, Elitia and George in Year 8;
- Norah in Year 9; and
- Tai and Flynn in Year 10.
Uniform Expectations
As outlined in the school’s Uniform Policy, students are expected to return to boarding school ready with no fake tanning, no acrylic nails, no false eyelashes, one natural coloured hair and only one piercing in each ear lobe.
Medication
Please be reminded that all medication provided for your child must be kept safely in the First Aid Room and administered accordingly by the School Nurse and boarding staff. Students are not permitted to keep medication in their rooms; this includes Panadol and Nurofen.
If your child is returning from holidays with new medication, please complete the Medication Permission form below.
Term 3 Transport
Term 3 is an especially busy period for transport with winter sport in full swing. If your child requires transport outside of school hours, please complete the Boarder Transport Application Form below as soon as possible. Priority driving details are outlined on this form.
Please note that due to the heavy driving schedule, we may not be able to fulfil every request.
We look forward to welcoming everyone ‘home’ on Monday for the start of Term 3.
Warm regards
Mrs Kathryn Searle
Director of Boarding
