Kindergarten

What a fabulous start to school Kindergarten have had this term. They have settled into the routines and runnings of daily school life like champions, it is like they have always been here. It is impressive to see them challenge themselves daily in their leanring, make new friends and let their very creative imaginations shine through. 

In term one we have learnt the rules of a simple sentence. We know that they have a capital letter, finger spaces and a full stop. Here are some recent samples from Kindergarten sentence writing. 

This term in visual arts Kindergarten have been learning all about, line, shape and contrasting and complimentary colours. They have been given time to experiement, draw, paint and create many impressive artworks over the term. Here are some samples of their work. 

Kindergarten have thoroughly enjoyed music lessons with Mrs Caterer. We have been learning about pitch and rhythm. I am happy to report that kindergarten is full of budding musicians!
