First Holy Communion

The Sacrament of First Holy Communion will be celebrated on the 31st May, 2026.  This sacrament is typically received by baptised students in Year 4.  Notes have been sent home with students for this sacrament, outlining lesson dates and other important information.  If you would like your child to receive this sacrament and you have not received information, please contact me at smeade@arm.catholic.edu.au ASAP.

Holy Week  & Easter

As we approach the final week of the school term, you’ll hear our community talking about Holy Week. For those unfamiliar with the tradition, this is the most significant week in the Christian calendar, where we reflect on the final days of Jesus’ life through a series of meaningful events:

  • Palm Sunday: Commemorates Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem, where he was welcomed by crowds waving palm branches as a sign of peace and honour.
  • Holy Thursday: Remembers the "Last Supper," focusing on the themes of service and community as Jesus washed the feet of his disciples.
  • Good Friday: A solemn day of reflection on Jesus’ crucifixion. It is a time dedicated to observing the values of sacrifice and profound love.
  • Easter Sunday: The joyful conclusion of the week, celebrating the Resurrection. It represents hope, renewal, and new beginnings for everyone.

Regardless of your personal faith or background, these days offer our students a chance to explore universal themes of compassion, resilience, and hope. We invite all our families to join us in this season of reflection.  See the bulletin below for Easter Weekend Mass times.
