Sports Week 8-10 - Athetics Carnival Practice

In preparation for our Athletics Carnival in week 10 (Friday, 26th June), students will travel to Golland feilds for the next 3 weeks to train in track and feild events. These include sprint, long jump, shot put and discus practice. Students will travel by bus from school and return for normal afternoon arangements.

Permission for these practices and the athletics carnival are now up in COMPASS. Please sign this as a matter of urgency and my apolgies for its lateness and quick turn around. 

High Jump and 800m Events:

High jump and 800m are the only 2 events that students must nominate for. All other events are compulsory and part of all age groups. High jump and 800m are only open to students tunring 8-12 this year (Junior, 11yrs and Senior age groups). A nomination form for these events will come home this week for students interested in entering these events for our carnival. 

Upcoming Sports News:

Sport weeks 8-10 - will be athletics training as a whole school over at Golland Fields between 2 and 3pm. 

2026 Athletics Carnival - our annual athletics carnival will be held on Friday 26th June (Week 10) at Golland Fields Quirindi. 

Sports Uniform

Term 2 - Sport  uniform will be Wednesdays and Fridays

Term 3 - Sport uniform will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
