A Message from the Principal
Mrs Amanda Sheridan
Today sees the changeover to winter uniform. Please ensure students are now in full uniform, including a tie. If you need support with uniforms, please don't hesitate to reach out.

As a community, it is our shared responsibility to ensure the safety of all our students, families, and staff during peak drop-off and pick-up times. The roads and parking zones surrounding St Joseph's can become incredibly busy, making mindfulness and patience essential.
Please remember to adhere to all speed limits, utilise designated crossing areas, and remain vigilant for young pedestrians who may be difficult to see. By working together, staying calm, and prioritising safety over speed, we can ensure every child arrives and departs school safely each day. Thank you for your continued cooperation and care.

The first two days of Term 3, 20th and 21st July, will be pupil-free days as the staff participate in Curriculum Professional Development and First Aid Training. The first day for students after the winter holiday break will be Wednesday, 22nd July.
At St Joseph's, we are fortunate to have wonderful staff who value open communication with families. The "Right to Disconnect" is a professional workplace principle designed to help school staff maintain a healthy work-life balance. It establishes that teachers and school employees are not required to monitor, read, or respond to work-related communications—such as emails, phone calls, or messages—outside of their designated working hours, during leave, or on school holidays. Parents and caregivers are still welcome to send emails or messages at times that are convenient for them. However, please be mindful that staff are not expected to review or reply to these messages until they return to work during regular school hours.
Thank you for partnering with us to support the health, well-being, and sustainability of our dedicated teaching team!
Enjoy your week, and as always, reach out if I can be of assistance.
Amanda
