A list of student's who received 'Student of the Week' this week 

Student of the Week- Week 5

Visual Arts - Mario 4B (Be a Learner) Mario demonstrated great focus and artistic integrity while constructing his plasticine octopus. His attention to detail and creativity whilst applying his skills was impressive. Congratulations and well done Mario!

Performing Arts - Radvin FB (Be a learner) Radvin demonstrated great enthusiasm and pride in Music through active participation in singing and body percussion activities. He has shown excellent growth as a learner by making positive choices, staying focused during lessons, and modelling integrity and positive behaviours to his peers.

Chinese - Vanesa 2B (Be a Learner) Vanesa has shown increased effort in Chinese classes and takes pride in her efforts.  She consistently completes her tasks with a positive attitude, contributing to a respectful learning environment. 

 

6C - Jezzy For working hard across all subjects, consistently completing all tasks to the best of his ability, and making thoughtful contributions during class discussions. Great work Jezzy, keep it up. 

 

5C - Sabrina (Be Respectful) for showing leadership and compassion for her classmates. Sabrina always focuses on her work and is an excellent role model for others. She willingly assists others and can guide a group of her peers to complete their task efficiently. Sabrina is inclusive and shows consideration towards all her classmates. Well Done Sabrina!

 

4A - Freya (Be a Learner & Be Respectful) Awarded to Freya for her commitment to doing her best at all times. She displays great kindness, and is always willing to help others. Thank you for your wonderful efforts, Freya!

4B - Zoey (Be a Learner) for always putting in your best effort to complete every task to a great standard. You have worked hard to improve the presentation of your handwriting, and it really shines in your writing pieces. Your determination and positive attitude towards learning are wonderful to see! Keep up the fantastic work, Zoey!

4C - Isabella (Be a Learner) for starting at DPW with resilience and bravery! 4C are so excited to have you be a part of our class - well done, Isabella!

 

3A - Ada (Be a Learner) for demonstrating pride in her learning by showing whole body listening during teacher instruction and focusing on learning tasks. Well done, Ada, keep up the great effort! 

3B - Oscar (Be a Learner) for working toward your goals and showing great improvement in your Reading lessons. Keep up the fantastic work, Oscar!

 

2A- Hevishk (Be Respectful and Be a learner) Hevishk has been awarded student of the week for his very hard work during Writing and Maths. He consistently tries his best and seeks teacher help respectfully when he needs it. Well done Hevishk!

2B - Aekam (Be a Learner) Aekam should be proud of her hard work and effort towards her learning. When writing, she produced a persuasive text with convincing arguments. She also used feedback and examples of modelled writing to uplevel her work. Well done Aekam!

 

1A -  Sofia (Be A Learner) for showing a positive attitude towards learning, improved focus during class activities, and thoughtful contributions to class discussions. Your growing confidence and willingness to participate are wonderful strengths to see each day. 

1B - Ali (Be Respectful) for always showing kindness and being willing to help those around him. He lends a hand without being asked, speaks politely and treats others with care. Well done, Ali!

 

FA - Jeremiel (Be a Learner) Jeremiel has continued to grow as a learner this term. He is trying hard to communicate with others and be part of the group. Keep up the great work!

FB - Elilta (Be Respectful) is a kind and caring member of our class who demonstrates the school value of Respect through her willingness to include others in games and learning activities. Her calm and supportive nature is a wonderful asset to our classroom. Thank you, Elilta.

                    Student of the Week- Week 6

Visual Arts - Logan 2A (Be a Learner)  Logan  demonstrated great artistry and enthusiasm while constructing his space aliens and his oil pastel space landscape. His appreciation of art as a subject and his respectful attitude and hard work is admirable.

Congratulations and well done Logan!

Performing Arts - Lenny 6B (Be a Learner) Lenny for demonstrating determination and great enthusiasm while reading music notation and playing the xylophone. He was displaying pride in his work and was very eager to show his peers his success with the task. Well done, Lenny!

Chinese - Leron 6C (Be a Learner) Leron has demonstrated positive learning behaviours taking pride in his Chinese writing task and taking initiative to ask questions to improve his learning outcomes. Keep up the good work Leron, you should be proud of your efforts. 

 

6A - Alice - Alice consistently applies herself in every lesson, approaching each task with enthusiasm and determination. She remains focused on her learning, puts forward her best effort, and shows resilience when faced with challenges. She takes pride in producing work of a high standard and strives to do her very best. You are a superstar Alice! 

6C - Azra for demonstrating exceptional dedication across all subjects, consistently completing every task with outstanding effort and excellence, and offering insightful, thoughtful contributions that enrich class discussions. 

 

5A - Mila (Be a Learner) for consistently working to the best of her ability during all lessons. Mila approaches every task with a positive attitude, stays focused on her learning, and always puts in a strong effort. She demonstrates persistence when challenges arise and takes pride in completing her work to a high standard. 

5C - Felix (Be a Learner) for focusing on his learning this week by meeting goals set to help him improve his concentration. He improved in both his maths learning and completing a persuasive writing piece. As a senior student, Felix demonstrated self commitment and organisation. Well done Felix!

 

4A - Legacy (Be a Learner) Awarded to Legacy for showing excellent learning in the use of Cornell notes to understand and read texts deeply. He captured the main ideas to write a clear and succinct summary. Well done Legacy! Awesome efforts!

4B - Ajay (Be a Learner) for consistently demonstrating excellent summarising and note taking skills during our Reading lessons. You have worked hard to organise your ideas clearly using Cornell notes, helping you to deepen your understanding of texts and share your thinking confidently. Fantastic effort as always, Ajay! 

4C - Sriram (Be a Learner) for putting in exceptional effort during purposeful reading tasks this week. It is awesome to see you taking such pride in your work and extending yourself & your learning. Keep it up, Sriram!

 

3A - Obed (Be a Learner) for showing determination in his learning this week during Mathematics when solving a range of multiplication problems. It’s great to see how much pride he has shown in his learning. Well done Obed, keep up the good work! 

3B - Viyona (Be a Learner) for demonstrating excellent skills in summarising and identifying the main ideas during our Reading lessons. You carefully read texts and can find the most important information on your own. You should be very proud of your focus, effort, and independence when completing your tasks. Well done, Viyona!

 

2A- Theresa (Be a learner) for working incredibly hard in mathematics to master adding and subtracting  2 digit by 2 digits using an open number line. Theresa eagerly sought out feedback and resiliently fixed her errors. You are a great Mathematician Theresra! Well done!

2B - Elly (Be a Learner) has been an excellent role model in class. She always displays enthusiasm to learn new things and approaches tasks with effort and pride. Wonderful effort!

 

 

1A - Bazir (Be A Learner ) for his outstanding commitment and persistence in learning 300 Magic Words. He should be proud of the consistent effort he applies during reading tasks and the steady progress and growth he continues to demonstrate in his reading skills. 

1B - Avish (Be a Learner) for working so hard to improve his writing. He has put great effort into recounting our excursion to the Melbourne Museum, using time connectives and thoughtful reflections. Well done, Avish!

 

FA - Shivaan (Be a Learner) for actively participating in the Heggerty Phonemic Awareness Program and showing great progress in identifying initial, medial, and ending sounds. Keep up the great work!

FB - Precious (Be a Learner) for the focus and effort he is putting into learning this term, especially during Math lessons. It has been wonderful to see Precious develop the confidence to share his thinking during our Number Talks. Keep up the great work!
