2027 Foundation Enrolments

Foundation 2027 enrolments are well underway, and it has been fantastic to see so many eager new faces already excited to begin their school journey with us next year.

Enrolment packs are available from our school office and include everything needed to get started. Enrolment forms can also be accessed via our website.

Our school continues to be a place where children feel safe, seen and supported — and where high‑quality learning thrives. We are incredibly proud of our strong academic results, which reflect the hard work of our students and the expertise and commitment of our staff. Our focus on high expectations, targeted teaching and building confident, capable learners ensures our students continue to make excellent progress.

We would also like to thank Harcourts SAS Deer Park for their support in providing the signage promoting our 2027 enrolments. The boards look fantastic out the front of the school and on Hogan Street, and are a great example of the strong connections we have within our local community.

If you are new to our school community, we warmly invite you to join us for a school tour. Visiting the school is the best way to see:

  • Our engaging learning spaces and calm, purposeful classrooms
  • How our teachers support academic growth through explicit instruction and rich learning tasks
  • Our strong wellbeing focus and inclusive school culture
  • The outdoor play and learning environments that our students love

Most importantly, a tour gives you a real sense of the pride and connection our students have in their school. Tour dates can be found in the Calendar section of the newsletter.

We look forward to welcoming you and sharing what makes our school such a supportive, high‑achieving and inclusive place for children.

Celebration of Learning

Our next Celebration of Learning will take place on Friday 19th June at 2:30pm in your child’s classroom.

We warmly invite parents, grandparents and carers to come along and share in the wonderful learning experiences our students have had this term.

The focus of this session will be on students’ work in Writing, as well as their learning throughout our Inquiry (History) unit.

We look forward to welcoming you into classrooms to celebrate the fantastic work of our students.

Each child who has a parent attend will receive a PAC card and go in the draw to win a prize at our school assembly.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Our upcoming Parent Teacher Conferences will take place on Tuesday 23rd June between 10:30am and 6:30pm.

These conferences are an important opportunity for families to meet with their child’s teacher and discuss their progress, learning, and wellbeing so far this year. They provide valuable time to celebrate successes, ask questions, and gain a clear understanding of how students are progressing and what the next steps in their learning will be.

While there will be no classes on this day, we strongly encourage students to attend the conference with their parents or carers. Being part of these conversations helps students take ownership of their learning and better understand their goals moving forward.

Each conference is scheduled for 15 minutes, and bookings can be made through Compass. If you feel you require additional time, please reach out to your child’s teacher in advance to arrange this. Bookings with Specialist Teachers can be made by contacting the school office.

Information About Semester One Reports

You may notice that student reports will look a little different this semester.

This relates to the ongoing industrial action connected to the current Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) negotiations involving the AEU.

Families will still receive important information about their child’s learning and progress. However, some aspects of the report may be reduced or presented differently compared to previous semesters. In particular, written comments may not be included for all students.

Semester 1 reports will be available in the final week of Term 2.
