Outdoor Ed Tree Planting

During Week 1 of the term the Year 10 and 11 Outdoor Education classes took a trip to Blind Bight to work in partnership with Landcare and the Lewis family to leave a positive impact on the outdoors. They planted a whopping 550 trees to create a nature corridor - super important for native species in ever-expanding urban areas.
KWRSC couldn’t be prouder of these Outdoor Edders, setting a fantastic example of giving back to the environment and connecting to your community. Good on you!
Many thanks are in order for the incredible hard work of Miss Thompson and Mr Page behind the scenes, as well as the Lewis family, Westernport Biosphere and Landcare.
Big win for the outdoors!
