Report from Assistant Principal Year 11/12

Dear Students, Families and Staff,

I would like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome you all to the 2026 school year. I have been incredibly impressed with the way our senior students have approached the start of the year. The overall attitude has been outstanding. Attendance has been strong, uniform standards have been excellent, and, most importantly, the work ethic displayed across our Year 11 and Year 12 classes has been first class. It has been wonderful to see students setting such a positive tone so early in the year.

The term is already well underway, with our senior students now completing their first round of assessments. The focus and commitment they are demonstrating reflects a clear determination to make the most of every opportunity in their final years of schooling.

Both our Year 11 and Year 12 students recently participated in a series of induction days designed to strengthen connections, build a sense of cohort identity, and inspire students as they begin (or continue) their senior journey. These days were centred around goal setting, personal growth, and establishing clear intentions that will guide students through the challenges and celebrations of senior school. It was encouraging to see students engaging thoughtfully in these sessions and supporting one another.

Senior school is a significant and transformative stage of education. It requires resilience, organisation, collaboration and perseverance. I am confident that our students have begun the year with the mindset required to succeed, and I look forward to supporting them as they strive to reach their full potential.

I am excited to work alongside our dedicated staff, supportive families, and motivated students throughout the year ahead. Together, we will continue to foster a culture of high expectations, strong relationships and academic excellence.
